"Like these work boots a lot. Very happy with the quality of construction. The leather is thick and durable, nice beefy outsoles, and strong metal shoestring eyelets. Solid all around. They look great and are comfortable too, with good arch support and cushioning. Only thing I'd note is that they're quite heavy. "I've had plenty of janky work boots under $100 made in China that fell apart after few months. You can blame shoddy construction and inferior materials to meet a certain price point for the premature demise. On the other hand, these pair of Moc Toe boots seem to pass the initial eyeball test. Of course, without tearing them apart, one can't really know for sure but it does seem to have good construction with Goodyear welt and decent quality leather. Not sure if it has a shank but it does feel like it. It also has steel toes, so that's a plus or a necessity depending on your needs. It has fake suede counter and removable memory foam insert. The wedge outsole has a layer of rubber glued to the bottom of it for added traction but it seems pretty thin. The fit is true to size. I wear size 9 and it fits me perfectly. All in all, it is a comfortable and good looking pair of Moc Toe boots for the price. Comes with a bonus pair of bamboo fiber socks." ---- This review is from Amazon Store: SAFETOE

They fit him well - sometimes boots described as Wide are not really wide enough when wearing heavy socks; these are. He has stepped in rain puddles with them on and no water seeped in.
