5 It keeps small projectiles from hitting my face.

" Getting tired of taking debris in the face while weed whacking, I started looking for a solution. First stop was my outdoor tool dealer but I didn't like their solutions, the face mask mesh spacing was too large. After reading many reviews on Amazon I thought I'd give this solution a whirl. Well, it is a home run. The face mask spacing is tight yet it doesn't interfere with visibility. First time out I did not take any face hits (I continue to wear safety glasses)! The hard hat is of good quality as is the headliner which is padded and very adjustable. The helmet also does very well protecting my hearing and even wearing it for long periods doesn't seem to bother me. I also use it for tree cutting and the helmet stays in place even when bending over as long as you deploy the hearing protection otherwise the helmet is a bit top heavy and will want to move on your head, not unreasonable. " Seeing how this set is so inexpensive, I wasn't expecting too much from it. But once it arrived, I can't believe how nice it is for the money! It is not a high-dollar set, for sure, but it does seem to be quite nice for the price. I like the orange coloring. The suspension part inside the helmet tightens and loosens very easily using the dial at the back. Nice! " I am safety oriented but have ran a chainsaw for 40 years with only gloves and safety glass. Well this summer my cousin that also grew up using a chainsaw for 50 years had a chainsaw kick back and it killed him. After this I bought this reluctantly. surprisingly I love it. I can see perfectly without the bothersome glasses. The ear muffs well I should have used them years ago. i don't knock my head on branches. Seriously this is a great deal and very comfortable and safe. I use it every time I fire up the saw and have even used it now with the table saw and other things.
